Can a company not give me a my bonus check after I leave eeven though I worked that entire month?
Please read the following before responding….
Every month I get the same bonus check. I have pay stubs to prove it. if I quit the company for a much better job, can they not give me the bonus check for that month even though I worked every day that month?
Does it matter if you give 1hour notice, 1 week notice, 2 week notice etc.. .when you leave the company?
If I don’t get it, would I have a case with the Labor Board?

Do you have a copy of your company’s bonus plan? I can tell you that every time my company changed their bonus plan, they made everyone eligible sign a copy that they had received it. It covers their a$$es from lawsuits, etc.
Every year the plan included one very clear specific:
You had to still be employed by them at the time the bonus check was written to be eligible to receive it.
Your company may not have been so deliberate in making sure everyone understood the details, but I bet if you get a copy of the official bonus plan, that’s in the fine print somewhere.
Regarding your last comment, unless you can somehow prove they said it, their word doesn’t mean anything. You’d have to prove there was a verbal contract to get anything out of them unless they just happen to be honest. There are still honest companies out there, try asking about it again. They may tell you “no” but at least it forces them to own up to their deceitfulness.
