I have a question about filing my taxes early (Canada)?

I am on sick and accident benefits through E.I. and recieved my last pay stub from work at the end of October. Is it possible to file my taxes early with my last pay stub if I am am on E.I. I was told from a co-worker that it is possible but I just can’t see it being possible..although a little extra Christmas cash would be nice right about now if it is possible. Anyone know?

As an individual, your deadline to file is April 30 or June 15 (if you earned business income) in the year following the end of the previous tax year. As an individual, your tax year is the calendar year.

Therefore, you can only file your income tax return after your tax year expires, so you cannot file before January 1, 2010.
