Why does my puppy keep scratching his ears?
It’s a Maltese with a mix in it (I don’t know which breed). I had just gotten it last week and its two and a half months old. He just lights up his hind leg and just starts scratching it once maybe every 2-4 minutes. And at times, it will gnaw at his paws. It started off very lightly when I had gotten him, but its getting worse. I went to a grooming place and it said it was just hair and they removed that this morning but it keeps on scratching still. There was a little odor but not to strong. What should I do? (And please not everyone say go to the vet cause I’m running low on cash) Give me some solutions I can do at home and such.

Okay, do not worry at ALL! My animals do that alot, what your pup is doing is scratching himself because he has itches ALL dogs scratch them selves. If he is itching himself then goes to lick his “area” it is natural. dont worry, you may want to chec him for fleas or ticks. There a no “solutions” for this. All dogs do this. He is young, it is okay if you notice rash check the color of it see if it has scabs or gashes. then even though you are low o cash you NEED to consult a vet. sorry but if there is a rash it could be an illness. i doubt there is a rash. there may be little marks but thats from his claws
